Dainty White Blossoms
It's nice to see that summer's not gone yet. The weather is still warm and there are plenty of plants still in bloom!

Yearling Mallards
I was walking through a park the other day and saw lots of ducks! It looked like most of them were yearlings as the males' heads were not completely green yet.
One of them even came over to check me out...
... and then decided I wasn't very interesting.

The Shell
I was down by the river and almost stepped on this poor fellow who was camouflaged well against the mossy bank.

More Fiery Red Fall Leaves
This bush seems to be taking it's time changing to autumn colours... this branch is the only one that's this red.
This is the only other branch that's really starting to change... though, it's well on it's way!

More White Foliage
I came across this tree after seeing the white ivy just the other day. Some branches are completely white, some are a mix of white and green, and then some are normal green.
Very pretty. Very interesting. I don't konw much about albinism in plants but after seeing this I can assume that it's possible.

I found these California Poppies growing in a crack in he pavement/sidewalk. They are so bright, they really stood out from the grey surroundings.

Desertscaping
A couple months ago, one of my neighbours dug up their lawn and replaced it with gravel. (That seems to happening a lot around here these days.) This particular neighbour has also decided on some interesting flora to compliment the new landscaping.

The Ladder
Saw a ladder against a tree... I wonder where it goes?
A little bit closer... still can't quite see!
What a treasure! Ripe Plums!

Standing Out
Found this flower all alone at the edge of the road... the nearest plant of any kind was 3-4 metres away.
Amongst a wall of green, this white ivy vine really caught my attention.
