The weather has been quite lovely lately. I really enjoyed seeing the big fluffy clouds in the sky yesterday.
Here's the view just 30 minutes later. I love the colours of sunset.

Spiders!
Got to visit with this creepy crawly earlier today. He's quick, but managed to stay still long enough for me to snap this photo. (Male Funnel Web Spider)
A little bit later I came across this mess of webbing. No spider to be found, but I though the structure was quite interesting. Very likely from the same species pictured above.

Summer's End
The summer showed up so late this year. We had a ton of rain, and it shows. The plants, despite the heat, have managed to stay somewhat lush and green.
However, it seems that we're running out of time to enjoy the greenery. Fall colours are starting to show and the plants are dropping seeds. It's hard to believe it's already the end of August!

Tut Tut... Looks Like Rain!
This afternoon was bright and sunny! I found a rainbow at a bus stop where the sun was shining through the glass.
As evening hit, so did a thunderstorm. Here's the view from that same bus stop 2-3 hours later.

Bountiful Baskets
Hanging baskets in the city are a familiar sight, but I've never before seen baskets as large and lush as those in Penticton's downtown!

Gardens By The Road
Saw these lovely sights on a walk this afternoon. I love the contrast between man-made structures and organic growth.
